Following the death of a well known and loved Somerset farmer, Horace Willcox in 2019, I was commissioned to photograph the auction of his vintage, agricultural and personal effects at his farm in the village of Westhay on the Somerset levels.
It was an incredible day - the local farming community and people from villages and towns all over the region coming together to see what was on offer, catch up on local gossip and of course to pay their respects.
There was a such a strong feeling of nostalgia - memories of village fairs and bygone days.
